Our Motive Is Their Second Chance!
Making new best friends since 2026
Donating is one of the best things you can do.
When you donate, you’re not just giving a deserving dog a chance. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profit before animal welfare.
Meet Our Furry Friends

Bowzer
Bowzer was more than a rescue dog. He was the first soul that made Christy and her husband Jon a family. Rescued from the very facility that would later become the focus of the foundation’s earliest support, Bowzer shaped the heart and purpose of everything that followed. His journey inspired years of giving, advocacy, and compassion for animals in need. Although Bowzer passed away in 2025, his spirit remains deeply woven into the Rebel Motive Foundation. Every act of generosity, every life touched, and every mission carried forward reflects the love that began with him.

Cooper
Cooper came into our lives when we needed him most. After the loss of Bowzer, Cooper helped heal our hearts and once again filled our home with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. He is part playmate and part gentle guardian. Always ready to run, play, and tire out young kids, yet equally content keeping a watchful eye on everything around him. At the end of the day, Cooper’s favorite place is close by, curled up and cuddling as only a family dog can. In many ways, Cooper did not replace Bowzer, but he carried forward the love Bowzer began, completing our family in a new and beautiful chapter.

Minnie
Minnie was a survivor from the very beginning. Abandoned and in need of significant medical care, she was rescued by Christy and brought home, where she went on to undergo many required surgeries and ultimately live a full and deeply loved life. Minnie became a constant source of strength and comfort for Christy during college, through school transitions, and during pivotal seasons of growth and change. Intelligent, alert, and just mischievous enough to keep things interesting, Minnie had a quiet presence that grounded those around her. Although she was peacefully put down in 2026, Minnie remains a close friend in spirit, forever part of the foundation and the heart that drives it forward.

Daisy
Daisy was another life saved through Christy’s compassion. Rescued and placed with her parents, Daisy found a safe, loving home where she was able to thrive. She became a cherished part of their family, offering comfort, companionship, and quiet joy every day. Daisy’s story is a reminder that rescue does not end at adoption. It continues through the love, stability, and care that allow an animal to truly belong. Her life and legacy remain part of the foundation’s story and a reflection of the values that guide its mission.

Teak
Teak has a heart made for family. Living in Florida, he thrives on being part of the action, whether that is relaxing at home or spending time with the boys at school. Gentle, friendly, and always eager to be close to the people he loves, Teak brings a steady warmth and joyful energy wherever he goes. His loyal nature and easygoing spirit make him the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into family life. Teak’s story is a reminder of how rescue can bring comfort, companionship, and everyday happiness into a home.

Checkers
Checkers was a gentle soul who taught us the beauty of slowing down. Content with naps, quiet moments on the couch, and peaceful evening walks, Checkers thrived in the calm and comfort of a loving home. Living with diabetes, he required attentive care and routine, which he met with patience and quiet resilience. Checkers’ story is a reminder that some of the most meaningful bonds are built in stillness, compassion, and commitment. His presence and legacy continue to reflect the heart of the foundation and its dedication to animals who need just a little extra care.
